Our business model is totally straightforward:

 - you deposit your money in a no-cost account with ING Diba, Consors or other well-known online banks

 - you can withdraw the money either whenever you like or need it (we just need two days notice) or leave the money for longer giving you a higher interest rate

 - we pool the money of all MyOwnBank members and invest the money in bonds issued for the respective groups, ie governments, companies or consumers (like every banker does). That pooling gives us the best rates for that.

 - However, rather than using highly-paid in-house bankers for that, we simply follow the central banks, ie the European Central Banks and the Federal Reserve in their published segment allocation for the banking sector. So we all get the benefit of that knowledge without paying for it!
